Instructions to make to make Yellow moong dal

  1. Assemble all ingredients mentioned above.
  2. Add oil in a pan & when it is hot add mustard seeds & when they crackle add cumin seeds and hing, then add green Chilli & ginger garlic paste & saute it till few seconds.
  3. Then add curry leaves 🍃& Then grated tomato & saute it for two minutes.
    When oil comes out in corners then add all spices & Then chop the coriander.
  4. Then saute it for a minute then add boiled moong dal to it & stir it properly.
    Now adjust the consistency of dal by adding water
    Some like very thick dal & some like thin dal so adjust accordingly.
  5. Now let it boil for 5 to 7 minutes Then transfer the bowl to another vessel & if you want a little sour taste then add 1/2 lemon juice to it. But its taste is very yummy without lemon juice also.
