- 2 cups multimillet rava (soaked)

- For tempering uttapam
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 pinch hing
- as required few Curry leaves
- as needed Ghee/ oil for roasting uttapams
- For tomato onion chutney
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp chana dal
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 pinch hing
- 1 dry red chilli
- 1/2 inch ginger
- as required Few curry leaves
- 1 medium size onion
- 2 large size tomatoes
- as per taste Salt
- 1 small piece of gur
- 1 small portion of Tamarind
- As required Adjust spiciness
- For tempering chutney
- 1/2 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 dry red chilli
- as required Few curry leaves

- In a blender jar take soaked urad dal and grind coarsely. Next add soaked and strained multimillet rava. Grind all together into a smooth batter.

- Let it cool. Then blend it smooth. If your tomatoes are not sour enough,then add little tamarind. If you like a sweeter tinge, add gur while blending. Next temper it. Add the tadka into the chutney. Mix. It's ready.
Serve hot uttapams with chutney, sambar and piping hot coffee.
